Tay Bac Ho Xa Industrial Park was approved for investment policy under Decision No. 396/QĐ-TTg dated March 19, 2021 by the Prime Minister. The project was officially established under decision no. 1355/QĐ-UBND dated May 20, 2022 by the Quảng Trị provincial people’s committee. On June 2, 2025, the provincial people’s committee issued the first adjustment decision, based on relevant regulations and the proposal of Quang Anh Quảng Trị Joint Stock Company submitted in January 2025.

Accordingly, with a total investment capital of 1,250 billion VND, the Tay Bac Ho Xa Industrial Park covers an area of 214.77 hectares and is implemented in two phases:

  • Phase 1 (Q2/2025 – Q2/2028): construction and operation of zone A, which includes A1 (32.7 ha), A2 (22.6 ha), and A3 (61.3 ha). The goal is to attract secondary investment projects and achieve a 30% occupancy rate for the commercial land in zone A.
  • Phase 2 (Q2/2027 – Q4/2030): construction and operation of zone B, consisting of B1 (35.6 ha), B2 (33.9 ha), and B3 (28.8 ha), aiming to reach 60% occupancy across the entire industrial park by 2030.

Industrial Park No. 3, has a total area of 247 hectares and a total investment of over VND 1,600 billion, is a typical industrial park of Thanh Hoa province and the North Central region.

I. Overview of Industrial Park No. 3 – Nghi Son Economic Zone

Industrial Park No. 3 – Nghi Son Economic Zone, Thanh Hoa Province, is a key mechanical and electronic industrial park in the economic development triangle of Quang Ninh – Hai Phong – Thanh Hoa.
