In 2015, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 10/2015/QD-TTg dated April 3, 2015, adding 750 hectares of VSIP Nghe An Industrial, Urban and Service Park Project to the Southeast Nghe An Economic Zone. . After being granted an investment certificate by the Southeast Economic Zone Management Board, VSIP Nghe An Industrial Park officially started construction in September 2015. The total project capital after adjustment is 186.98 million USD, of which the investment capital for phases 1 and 2 of the industrial park is 63.9 million USD; Investment capital for phases 1, 2, 3 of urban and service areas is 123.08 million USD.
VSIP Nghe An Industrial Park has a total area of 750 hectares, of which industrial park land is 367.6 hectares, bringing to Nghe An province in particular and the North Central provinces in general an industrial, urban and service complex with completely different quality at international level.

In November 2020, VSIP Nghe An was honored to become one of the first industrial parks in Nghe An to achieve all 3 certifications of ISO 9001:2015, 14001:2015 and 45001:2018; and is also the first industrial park to be granted this Certificate in Vietnam by SGS Vietnam, a member of SGS SA Group, a world leading organization in Inspection, Testing and Certification.
Currently, VSIP Nghe An Industrial Park has attracted 32 investment projects, total FDI capital reaching 744 million USD, creating jobs for 13,000 workers and is aiming to create jobs for 23,000 workers in 2024.

VSIP Nghe An Industrial – Urban and Service Park is located at the western gateway of Vinh city, surrounded by arterial roads such as National Highway 1A, National Highway 46A, National Highway 46B and Vinh – Cua Lo Avenue. From here, you can easily and quickly access seaports, road ports and airports, thereby saving a lot of transportation costs and time, especially the cost of importing and exporting goods.
