VSIP Nghe An Industrial Park, Nghe An Province

In 2015, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 10/2015/QD-TTg dated April 3, 2015, adding 750 hectares of VSIP Nghe An Industrial, Urban and Service Park Project to the Southeast Nghe An Economic Zone. . After being granted an investment certificate by the Southeast Economic Zone Management Board, VSIP Nghe An Industrial Park officially started construction in September 2015. The total project capital after adjustment is 186.98 million USD, of which the investment capital for phases 1 and 2 of the industrial park is 63.9 million USD; Investment capital for phases 1, 2, 3 of urban and service areas is 123.08 million USD.

VSIP Nghe An Industrial Park has a total area of 750 hectares, of which industrial park land is 367.6 hectares, bringing to Nghe An province in particular and the North Central provinces in general an industrial, urban and service complex with completely different quality at international level.

I. Overview of VSIP Nghe An Industrial Park

• Location: Hung Chinh commune, Vinh city and communes Hung Tay, Hung Dao and Hung Nguyen town, Hung Nguyen district, Nghe An province
• Area: 750 hectares
• Occupancy rate: 88%
• Operating term: 50 years (2015 – 2065)
• Industries attracting investment: Priority is given to Textiles, F&B, Sugar production, and Industries using natural raw materials.

In November 2020, VSIP Nghe An was honored to become one of the first industrial parks in Nghe An to achieve all 3 certifications of ISO 9001:2015, 14001:2015 and 45001:2018; and is also the first industrial park to be granted this Certificate in Vietnam by SGS Vietnam, a member of SGS SA Group, a world leading organization in Inspection, Testing and Certification.

Currently, VSIP Nghe An Industrial Park has attracted 32 investment projects, total FDI capital reaching 744 million USD, creating jobs for 13,000 workers and is aiming to create jobs for 23,000 workers in 2024.

VSIP Nghe An Industrial – Urban and Service Park is located at the western gateway of Vinh city, surrounded by arterial roads such as National Highway 1A, National Highway 46A, National Highway 46B and Vinh – Cua Lo Avenue. • Electricity price: Normal hours: 1,555 VND/Kwh (0.067 USD/Kwh applies from Monday to Saturday: 4am – 9:30am, 11:30am – 5pm and 8pm – 10pm, Sunday: 4am – 10pm); Off-peak hours: 1,007 VND/Kwh (0.042 USD/Kwh applies all days of the week from 10pm – 4am); Peak hour: 2,871 VND/Kwh (0.123 USD/Kwh applies from Monday to Saturday: 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 p.m.; and 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.).
• Water price: According to the decision of Nghe An Provincial People’s Committee, at the time of connection
• Wastewater treatment fee: According to price at the time of operation
• Telephone, Internet and other service costs are according to the supplier’s regulations at the time of use.

V. Investment incentives

Corporate income tax: Enterprises investing in VSIP Nghe An industrial park enjoy large corporate income tax incentives, because this is an industrial park in the Southeast Economic Zone. Specifically, preferential tax rate of 10% within 15 years, tax exemption for 4 years, tax reduction for the next 9 years.

Import tax: Enterprises are entitled to import tax exemption for the first 5 years.
