Nam Tan Tap Industrial Park was added to the national master plan for industrial park development under the Decision No. 1107/QĐ-TTg dated August 21, 2006, by the Prime Minister, and its 1/2000 zoning plan was approved under Decision No. 3912/QĐ-UBND dated October 26, 2020, by the Long An provincial people’s committee (now Tay Ninh province).

Subsequently, the project’s investment policy was approved under Decision No. 1240/QĐ-TTg dated August 20, 2021, by the Prime Minister and officially established under Decision No. 9267/QĐ-UBND dated September 22, 2021; by the Long An provincial people’s committee.

I. Overview of Nam Tan Tap Industrial Park

With a total investment capital of over VND 2,590 billion, Nam Tan Tap Industrial Park covers a total area of 244.74 hectares, with potential expansion in Phase 2 through the adjacent Tan Tap Industrial Park, which would bring the total area to 654 hectares. The project has an operation period of 50 years, starting from the date of the Investment Policy Approval Decision (August 20, 2021 – August 20, 2071). Construction is expected to begin by the end of 2025 or, at the latest, in early 2026.
Designed to become the first green industrial park in the region, Nam Tan Tap Industrial Park aims to attract high-tech investment, create a safe and sustainable working environment, and contribute to environmental protection. The project will be developed in three phases: eco-industrial park ,carbon-neutral industrial park and net zero carbon industrial park.

Power supply system

  • Stable power source: supplied continuously from a 110/22 kV – 2×63 MVA transformer station, ensuring reliable electricity for the entire industrial park.
  • Distribution network: electrical lines are installed along internal roads, providing access to each land plot.
  • Customizable capacity: enterprises may build their own substations to meet specific power demands.
  • Provider: Long An Power Company (EVN).

Water supply system

  • Provider: Bang Tam Water and Environment JSC.
  • A pumping station with a capacity of approximately 9,400 m³/day is constructed within the park to ensure continuous and clean water supply.

Wastewater treatment system

  • Centralized wastewater treatment plant: Capacity of 7,500 m³/day, meeting Class A standards under QCVN 40:2011/BTNMT before discharge.
  • Pre-treatment requirement: tenants must treat wastewater to Class B standards before discharging into the park’s collection network.

V. Investment Incentives and Support Policies at Nam Tan Tap Industrial Park

Enterprises operating in Nam Tan Tap Industrial Park are entitled to the following investment incentives:
Corporate Income Tax (CIT): applied in accordance with the current tax laws.
Import Tax: 0% import tax for the first 5 years for high-tech projects encouraged for investment, 0% tax on profit remittance abroad.

  • For machinery, equipment (and accompanying spare parts), specialized vehicles used in production lines, and construction materials not yet produced domestically:
  • Projects under the “Specially Encouraged Investment” category, or those manufacturing mechanical, electrical, and electronic components and parts, are exempt from import tax on raw materials for the first 5 years from the commencement of production.
  • Imported raw materials, parts, and supplies for the production of export goods are also tax-exempt.
